Okay so I'm really hoping to go fursuiting at an anime convention near me in a week. I've never been to a convention before. Any tips on how to behave or anything? If you see another furry, how do you act? I know this fandom is very accepting, but are you supposed to like be their friend right away or do most fursuiters not want to interact if you don't know them? Any general rules when interacting with other fursuiters? Also I don't know if there will be a headless room or anything as it's an anime con, so is it generally acceptable to suit up/go headless in the bathroom? Weird questions I know but I've literally never interacted with the furry community in real life before ;u;

I’d say just be very dramatic with your actions! Don’t be afraid to wave at someone or give them a high five! Make sure your arm movements are distinct- unless your character is shy. Then try to really bring the oof out about any awkwardness like shifting weight (still dramatic) side to side, or covering your face. If you want to talk to random suiters just go over and give a wave to them! They can’t see your face so it’ll be easier to be less nervous. Besides they share your passions <3 they’ll do nothing but support you. I’d say general rules are don’t go up and hug someone right away. Make sure they can see you so you don’t startle them lol. Also please ask to touch other suits out of respect to their faux fur and such. You don’t want to deal with someone yelling at you for you pulling a ton of fur out. Talk to other suiters but realise they may not talk back because most suiters remain silent to stay in character. If you’re comfortable breaking silence; cool, but don’t force others to talk.

Dude for the head, ask if there’s a room of any type you can go to. Bathroom may be a bit awkward, so don’t be afraid to just take the head off if you’re in trouble heat or breathing wise. I have glasses and they often fog so unfortunately I need to break a lot. It may ruin the “magic” but you are more important.

a little upsetting that two of my sona's colors arent fur colors especially that red, ugh. doesnt anybody have a not super intense bold red? is my sona just too cool to be made fur colors of? but this is close enough!

Those paws are amazing! :3 I didn't realize any makers could make them with thumbs.

yeah! there are a few makers out there that do. i was just set on feral paws with a dewclaw and this maker makes outstanding paws for an incredibly affordable price! i believe they start at 140 usd.

Those are looking GORGEOUS! I’m hoping to add a pair of What’s Up HotDog Fursuits paws to my collection someday; they also do 5 finger paws.

so i did a rough sketch of how my dream fursuit would look like! just a few different things to note from the picture:
-i want more of a "dutch angel dragon" look, she's half snow leopard, half dutchie! (Idc if it's against dutchie rules, i created her c':)
-i want the legs to look more digi than i drew them

oh how i wish i had the money for one :')

I made a fursona that I think I would like to get a fursuit of! Anyone know some good cat makers?
Please suggest someone that is kinda affordable and not so competitive? So no one like Multicolor Bark or Skypro
