I agree with Japan/Chernobyl thing. Not in the circumstances, of course, just in that there will most likely be a meltdown and something similar to the Chernobyl Disaster (radiation, nuclear waste, etc).

It seems like Japan will not be badly effected by this, at least not to Chernobyl levels. Chernobyl was a major disaster where they weren't following protocols. This is being done by the book. Chernobyl was a case of incompetence and ignoring regulations. This is just dealing with the fallout (ohoho, sorry) of a natural disaster.

My father has his Geiger counter out, though, just in case we catch a 'whif' of the radiation over here. Right now at our house it's around 25 units (I can't remember the exact unit, sorry) while normal in Europe/Asia is around 60-130 units.

Chernobyl fascinates me, though. I would love to go there someday. Nature is remarkably resilient. What was once a town is now, essentially, an animal refuge. It's beautiful, both terrifying and inspiring.

Japan is very advaned and can control something like whats happening but all i hope for is that nothing goes wrong because my friend already lost a cousin from the tsunami so a nuclear disaster would devestate her :(

I remember a few years ago somebody posted pictures that they took on a motorcycle ride through Chernobyl. I don't believe they were authorized, but it did give an interesting view into how time has treated the place since the event.

http://www.kiddofspeed.com/chernobyl-la ... he-wolves/ Beware! 2004 website graphics and terrible JPEG compression abound! XD Also hitting the "Next Page" is kind of annoying, but it's worth it to see some of the pictures.

Woah, thankee for that Rags, that's pretty... cool? I don't know what the word is.

"radiation, wolves and wormwood. "

Minus the radiation, that place sounds awesome. XD
joking. But those photos are neat :3

They really are interesting. It would be nifty to see what things are like now, since those photos were taken over 5 years ago. I'm sure there's probably something that's out there, but I've had that link in my bookmarks for some time now and it's always a fun one to revisit. :)

Oh gosh... I looked up Chernobyl a while ago. I didn't actually get this much information.
I am an old player trying to make a comeback here. If you see me around, please feel free to send a trade as I have many early game pets up for grabs, and many more common wanted pets from times I've missed.

In my extremely sleep-deprived [Dragon Age 2 induced] state I read this as "riddled with lizards" and spent ten minutes trying to understand your post before I realized.
