I had to put down my cat last autumn as well. Ten year old tortoise shell named Apache. She got a tumor in her intestines and wasn't able to eat solid food. She couldn't even make it to the litter box before making a mess. I'm sorry dear.

I was just able to help two players who had valuable pets they didn't know the worth of. I introduced both to the Rares List, and they each thanked me graciously...

It hit me pretty hard that those were the first two to thank me in a very long time.. Maybe I'm just not appreciated any longer?

On a side note, a horse during the lesson I was giving spooked and crashed through the fence.. Wasn't my horse, the person hauled in! Now I have to deal with insurance crap, getting a half-payment deal on fixing the fence, and more.. On the first day to..

*hugs* you are appreciated, some people just aren't the best with thank yous. And in some cases they are still too confused by the rares list to even think about thank yous.
