It depends. If you are up for some british pop/rock, you can go with one of my personal favorites, McFly. Their new albumn is simply amazing, on my opinion. And if you're up for some different languages, try reaggeaton (R&B in spanish), K-pop (korean popular music, they have good beats there), or J-pop (japanese popular music. Insane music).

My Chemical Romance is a goood option, just one thing. Just because they dress like emos, write kinda sad songs, and thier songs names sound strange dosen't mean you should judge them. The singer made the band in order to help people, after he saw the news on 9/11 he and his friends made the song "Skylines and Turnstiles". MCR is not a suicide cult. The singer, and for a matter a fact, the whole band and are just telling you that they know what you are going through, they know life can be hard, and they just hope thier songs will make you happy. Gerard hopes he can save some emos from being emo, help kids be good, calm some violent teenagers, and help save lives. People even wear shirts that say "My Chemical Romance saved my life."

(I know it's a long speech, but Gerard thinks that emo is a load of **it! He's said it in interviews.
P.S: MCR saved my life too. I really recomed the band. )

There is also Three Days Grace. These two bands are more of a punk rock kind of bands.

(Oh, and I'm warning you not to listen to "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day or listen to "Viva La Vida" by Cold Play. I did like those songs but after a while they get SOOOO annoying!! Me and my bro scream whenever one of those songs is on the radio. And my mom thinks we're crazy)
