I myself am most definitely not a synthete, but I do believe my sister may or may not be one?
She often tells me what certain word's colors are, and has tried getting me to see them the same way, but I don't think its a trait that's learned easily, if at all.
But, I did think it was really neat to see so many people like this. ^w^
Just curious, some words people might try to color?

are your z's blue, then? to me, z is black (or almost black) and is very overpowering, so most words with a z in them, especially if that's the first letter, are very dark- colored.

Zero is mostly black, more dark green at the end.
Axel is a pure, dark, red.
Damien is kind of a medium, almost cloudy green, tinting to reddish at the end.
Nameless is blueish- clear.

I do not have synesthesia, but i am very interested in everything about it, i read a book and fell in love with the topic.
I heard it gives some people headaches to read in black with crazy colors flying every where and hard to concentrate, so i am writing in blue c:

anyone know what the name Jackle/Jacklyn would be?
For me jackle is a light orange with a tint like this
and jacklyn is more light and playful, more like a seafoam green like this
