You had better shut you fat mouth before I shut it for you. I am SICK AND TIRED of the way you treat my friend. It is your own fault that you hit a curb and popped the tire on your car. Just because it didn't go flat until she went to go see her real dad's grave(which, by the way, you haven't let her go visit in close to 6 years) does not mean that it is her fault the tire went flat.
Even moreso, it does not mean that you can yell at her until she just gets up and leaves. It's a dang good thing you let her get up and walk away though, because if you had continued screaming at her for something that wasn't her fault, you would have my wrath to face, and believe me, I play dirty when I feel the need.
You had dang well better learn some respect. If you don't, you'll be losing your 'slave' very quickly. I am literally ready to get in the car and drive for two hours to come pick her up. So you had better back off because she won't be coming back to your house this time.
She deserves much better than you have been giving her since you invaded her life after her real dad died, quit causing her so much pain or I swear it won't be pretty.
No love,
Metallic Dragon

Metallic DragonWhoever your friend is, I beg you with all my heart and being to go pick her up, before he physically hurts her, and before he can hurt her more emotionally and mentally![]()
I know from my friends, this is not a pretty thing to have happen.

Yeah, the worst part is she deals with his verbal abuse almost every day. She's been staying at my house quite often lately to get away from him. They've both calmed down now, but I still worry about her. Luckily there are only a few more months left of school and then she'll be getting out of that house forever(thank goodness, I just wish she would let me bring her to my house and keep her here for the rest of school. Though it is really no trouble to my family at all, we all love her like one of our own and she'd be more than welcome to move in)

Force her to come, don't let her have any choice >:D

(not in the rescuing-a-friend situation, as mentioned above, but in the 'LET'S GET AN APARTMENT TOGETHER 8D' way)
There are so many things to disagree about! No one warns you about this!
Splitting the bills. Getting the bills mailed on time. Who will buy the stamps and envelopes to mail the bills. Who will mail the bills. What is the AC going to be set to, so that we don't go broke from the bills (this is tricky; people have different budgets and preferences). Dividing up the pantry space, fridge space. Guidelines for community areas (no shoes on the couch, no spills, etc). Chores (floors, counters, dishes, trash, etc). How to handle the situation if someone neglects their chores.
I didn't even mention schedules, loudness, laundry room, or water bill!!!!!
Anyway.
Now that I DON'T live with my best friends, the roommate situation is splendid! I love my friends, but myself and one friend tended to butt heads over the many things listed above. The only problem is, 2 that I used to live with now live together again elsewhere, and I never even see them. It's like I don't exist. I know they're not doing it on purpose, but they simply.. forget about me. THey have fun, they go out, they see movies, get drinks, YADDA YADDA all without me, so here I am, feeling like an utter loser because my friends never call, then post on facebook "I never see youuuuuu!"
IT'S YOUR OWN FREAKING FAULT!
Every one in a while, I invite at least one of them over. But the favor is never returned. They've made no move to actually alienate me, and I know they don't actually dislike me... but still. This effing sucks, man!
I already had to go through not seeing a lot of people after high school because everyone went to different colleges, but this is worse; these are my best friends.
Issue #2 (right when you thought I was done, eh?)
I quite like my current roommates. Although, I'm trying to pick a place to live at next year and a 1 bedroom place is way too expensive for my budget, but I've found a few good 2 bedroom places. The problem is... I NEED A ROOMMATE. A lot of my friends are graduating in May, but little ol' me and my biology degree aren't ready to take flight in the big wide world, so I'll be around another year. The few people that aren't leaving in May already have roommates lined up, and I feel like leases are being signed left and right.
I have a possible roommate (one of my current roommates), but the thing is... I like her, but she's a bit.. emotional. Not all the time, but when it happens, it's often late at night, possibly after drinking, and I just don't want to feel obligated to sit there with her. Maybe I'm just a cold person, but I hate drama and I don't like sitting there, chatting about the drama in other people's lives. ANd besides, I have a VERY early schedule and die if I have less than 8 hours of sleep, so I fear that us together, JUST us, may cause me to start to not feel so great towards her, which would be a shame, cuz she really is nice!
So here I am, scrambling around trying to find a roommate when everyone I know isn't available and I have too many preferences to post an ad (responsible with bills, quiet, clean, no rodent allergies, considerate about bill budgeting, won't eat my food, etc).
Sadly, the only person who fits all of those requirements is.. well, someone I'm not on the best speaking terms with. Which is a shame, cuz he's delightfully qualified! If only it wouldn't be so awkward.
Between a rock and a hard place.
If anyone actually read all that, kudos to you, and thanks for reading my rant. XD
