That happens to me alot. I'll make an RP (prett awesome RPs in my opinion) and then some one-liner joins. And all of my RPs faila round page 3.

I really hope mine doesn't... I put far too much work into it. xD -crosses fingers-

That its so hard just to find a normal RP. All I wanna do is run around with a wolf. I don't feel like saving the earth, or Flying or crap. I just want something plain to do for fun.
I miss the RP directory D8.
The last one got locked by the mods >,<. I know its againts the rules but I loved it D8.

i am looking would prefer some who is liteirate and can rp in romance rp and also i would prefer an advanced roleplayer. i am not big on paragraphs and also i would like some who has done romance rps before i like dragon rider rps with a bit of romance in them. i also like medevil rps. i do not require much typing usually only 2 to 3 sentances or more. i do not mind if you are on every other day. my favorite books are the eragon series so if you have the the books and would like to roleplay with me pm me and we will talk over a plot for the rp.

I was looking for a 1x1 Rp and came across that above paragraph.

Really? Well then try being literate yourself first. Capitalism and spelling correcctly is a huge partner in literate RPs.

Literate is usually two to three PARAGRAPHS, not sentences.

I would like for people to get their facts straight. Sorry but I just found this annoying. And the user had a thousand or so posts so I expect you to have correct grammar and capitalism by seven hundred or so posts. You should know the ite by then.

Fail user is fail. Actually.... Someone told me that Semi-lit consists of 2-3 pharagraphsm, so literate must e..... Well, they're certainly not either, that's for sure.

It annoys me that I'm not even literate or semi-lit, and most of my friends are either spammy one liners and art theives, or extremely literate that I can't keep up with them. >.>

1. I believe the RP Directory was a thread that kept track of a bunch of roleplays on here so you could find them easily?
2. I hate the term literate, personally. We should all be literate, in the fact that we can read and write coherently. Of course, some people fail this and thus are illiterate. But how should that be a gauge of roleplaying skill? I personally much prefer the terms Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Half of the people in a semi-lit roleplay ARE literate, by the definition that they can read and write. They just are not yet able to write a whack load per post.

Soooo, the person who made it decided to go and break the rule and type in 'OOC' with chat speak - What the crap?!

I just had someone powerplay my character and force them to like my character. And it was really bad. I don't want my charming, charismatic warrior who seems to always be in heat like her timid shy cat! No!

I saw. She also triple posted.

Eh, sometimes though posts don't need to be more than 1 or 2 paragraphs in length. xD Which means some people just add useless fluff which is just as annoying to make it look longer. I dunno. I'm weird maybe.

Or they assume that every sentence can be on a new pharagraph.

Therefor, they can post three sentences in seperate pharagraphs, and be semi-lit.

XD I've seen that before, Barty.

They go:

Jade saw a rabbit and licked her lips hungrily.
Jade stalked it.
Jade pounced on it and killed it.

That's an exaggeration, but it's sort of annoying to me anyway. They could instead post:

Jade cast her dark brown eyes at her surroundings, ears perked up to catch the slightest sound of movement. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a flash of brown. She scented the air, and soon determined that it was a rabbit. She licked her lips hungrily and crouched low to the ground, making sure she was downwind and hoping that she would stay that way. Jade crawled forward slowly as not to make a sound that might startle the rabbit into running away. As she neared it, she saw that the rabbit was plumper than most. Her muscles tensed as the rabbit hopped forward a step, and then eased a bit as it didn't go any farther. She inched forward a bit until she was in a leap's reach of it. She readied her muscles and sprang. She landed squarely on it, pinning it down with her weight, but not enough so that the rabbit couldn't try and squirm out of her grasp. She caught it before it had completely escaped, and quickly finished it off with a quick twist of it's head.
Jade sat back, panting. She let herself completely relax for the first time since she'd begun stalking it, and picked it up to carry it back to camp.

I probably would've posted better in a real RP, but anyways. I consider that close to a semi-lit paragraph.

Speaking of hunting... I see too many occasions where the RPer posts, "{insertcharacternamehere] saw a rabbit and pounced on it, killing it. S/he ate it." Really? You know, wolves very often let a piece of prey slip away.
