My work let us dress up for halloween today during our shifts - so I casually cosplayed Bakugou! I had the wig, eyes, his signature skull t-shirt, and the rest was just baggy black jeans, black combat boots, and a couple of chains. I fully expected nobody to really recognize me - but 5 people did!! Someone even said "you look cool Bakugou!" as they left the store and that comment just absolutely made my day. Not to mention all the compliments I got on the contacts too c:
To top it all off, I even got off work right as the new MHA movie was playing at the theater next-door, so I grabbed a ticket and watched it for the 3rd time this weekend! Honestly this Halloween turned out much better than I thought it would, I'm literally so happy right now c':

im a barista and the only person at my work to dress up for halloween so i was a little bummed
but about an hour before my 8 hour shift ended someone finally walked in wearing a costume (a sully onesie) so i got to give him candy and we talked about where he had trick or treated and how much candy was in his candy bag
last year i had uber drivers, customers, my coworkers all dressed up and this time this was it but it was a sweet (get it) interaction that made me smile after they left

after yesterday's party, i'm really glad that today is all saints' day and i have the day off to recharge. the only good thing about living in a historically very catholic and traditional country definitely is getting most important catholic holidays off from work tbh. time to lounge around and do absolutely nothing for a few hours & then see if i can't get the house cleaned up a bit more

for the past few days i have been a lot more social than usual. i'm not usually like this because i get very anxious to talk to people who i'm not very close to, but somehow i have been able to push myself
it feels very unfamiliar and almost wrong to say, but i am actually kind of proud of myself
