    i had to change a dish from vegetarian to vegan because a vegan friend unexpectedly joined for dinner tonight and i was really really worried it would taste horrible since all of the substitutes (vegan cream cheese, soy milk, almond cheese) were super sweet imo and the sauce wasn't supposed to be sweet whatsoever, but a big amount of garlic, fresh chili peppers, salt and pepper really balanced the sweetness out well and it turned out much better than i expected it to

    Basically done unpacking which means I have found my camera (aka the love of my life) and my blender! Made my first batch of baby food today and omg it is delicious??? It is also about 9x cheaper than buying it so I'm going to consider that a win. I can't wait to have little mister man try it when he wakes up.

finding a bunch of old photos i got to tape up by my desk :) (its mostly pictures of my dog has a puppy tbh)
