[Seasonal]

My aunt's dog ran outside and had something in its mouth, something small
she had to grab him to get him to drop it
she ran inside crying

I went outside to find it, and in the grass I find a hairless baby mammal in the grass
It wasn't moving
I didn't see any bite marks, and I went to see if I could find anything else in the yard like it... and then I noticed 4 or 5 squirrels running around in the trees above where my aunt said her dog got it

Naturally, I looked up newborn squirrels.. And unfortunately... my hunch was correct..

It's mother had accidentally dropped it from the tree while running around- that or it was shoved out of the tree by a competitive male.. The dog didn't kill him, the fall did. His arm was out of the socket and it looked like the left side of his skull was swollen...

I'm so sorry, little guy... you didn't deserve this..

Moved out for the first time ever into a homeshare just two days ago, everything feels weird still and I keep getting into a weird static headspace. I wouldn’t call the weird headspace negative per say but I do zone out and the edges of my vision go black and idk what to do, it just keeps getting in the way of my unpacking.
I saw my mom yesterday but it feels like I haven’t seen her for years since then, I don’t think I miss her though and am unsure how to feel with all these reactions and thoughts.
Everything is new and confusing yet oddly neutral. Anyone ever been in the same boat/have any advice?

why cant i be treated like a normal person. You take all your anger out on me, you treat me horribly. You make me think of myself horribly. But I cant do anything about it so I'll sit here helplessly taking it.

why am i unable to enjoy what others normally enjoy?
why can't i just let myself have fun without feeling uncomfortable?
why can't i enjoy the company of others if they're different?
why do i have to feel uncomfortable in every situation?
why do i always have to feel left out?
why can't i find my personality?

4 days from now, it will be 7 months since you passed away. I miss you and I wish I could of told you how much I love you and said goodbye to you.. I miss you.. why did you need to leave so soon.. I want you back.. You didn't need to go yet, there was still so much life left in you.. I love you so much and I still sometimes think one day you will visit us on you way home.
