I told my good friend that I have a crush on this boy in our grade who I have known a while and am very close with. What does she do the next day? She goes up to him and starts getting into a whole conversation with MY friend and MY crush who she has never talked to, as far as I know. And to this day (I told her last year) she continues to attempt stealing him away from me. I am so done with human beings.

*flashback approximately two years ago*
Me- "Alright... I'm bisexual"
Her- "What's that?"
Me- *facepalm* "it's where you... um... well you can date a boy or you can date a girl, kinda"
Her- "Ew! That's gross, so you have a crush on me?"
Me- "No!"
Her- "So... you like any girls in the grade?"
Me- "Just because I'm Bisexual doesn't mean that I have to have a crush on a girl, ya know"
Her- "Oh, okay."
Me- "promise me that you won't tell anyone?"
Her- "Promise"

*last year*

A 'popular' girl walked up followed by three to me and asked, "do you like... like like boys or girls?" I'm sure that my face got really red and I just said, "what the heck?! Of course not! Who said that?" Haha, I think I know.

SCHOOL WHY.

Seriously. >.>

I've spent the last four days sleeping at 12:00 PM (oh, look, I still haven't gotten over my jetlag? Huh.) and waking up at 6:30 in the morning to get to school.

What have we done?

Day 1: Go to school to take placement exam. People read recommendation letter. Say I'm okay and don't have to take the test

Day 2: Go to school to take a small assessment with the band teacher to see if I'll be going to Advanced or Intermediate. Take sight reading test. Fail miserably (60%? No problem). But at least I got into Advanced band anyway. Yeah. Not like I wanted to take 2D Art, or Sculpting and Ceramics, or Technology (they get to use those saws and create soda-can turbines, or use popsicle sticks to create towers that can hold under hundred-pound weights), or Photography.

No, I didn't want to take any of those super-interesting classes. I want to take band! :D

Day 3: Orientation day. Start time: 7:55 AM. End time? 11:40 AM

Day 4: Go to school to take placement exam (wait, but I thought you said you didn't have to take it? D:). They were wrong. Apparently I do have to take the exam. >.>

UGH.

I just want some sleep, my goodness!

I have to wake up at 6:30! School here starts ten freaking minutes earlier than it did in California! And it does not help that we still haven't moved into the house. The school is 25 minutes away! ;n;

I'm so not looking forward to going to the big pancake breakfast tomorrow.
Standing in line with about 100 other people, waiting for half an hour to an hour, plus it's supposed to be 90 degrees out.
And if I survive that, the pancakes in the end aren't even that good.
Why must you insist we go to this every year mom.
