i just finished this really good book.
i started it today. read for maybe a half hour before having to put it away for a couple hours.
and i sat down in this darn hotel room and read for three hours straight because it was good. really good.
and now it's almost midnight haha oops oh well who needs sleep anyways not me nope

we recently adopted a new dog. for some reason, she was convinced for the first 3 weeks that a cat statue we have was staring her down and needed to be barked at! she would stare at it, whine and bark, and try to get it to move or play. we took it down for a while, but recently put it back up to see if she'd notice. she has decided it's maybe not so bad but will often give it some intense side-eye!
