I'm Canadian, and I personally speak a very little bit of French. 'Le' means the.
*le goes on chicken smoothie*
No please. I get that you're trying to be funny but it's cringe. Please.
*eats le grapes* is better for me.. At least you're using it right.
strongly agree, i barely speak coherent french but it still irks me. i always felt weird about this since it's not my first language and i
probably shouldn't have an opinion on it, but i'm glad somebody else gets it lol
i don't necessarily hate it, i just feel weird seeing it and it makes reading the rest of the text feel off. i thought using "le" in that way stopped in 2013

"based" like what does that even mean
and "ratio'd"???
I'm getting old. I'm trying i swear
based
A word used when you agree with something; or when you want to recognize someone for being themselves, i.e. courageous and unique or not caring what others think. Especially common in online political slang.
ratio
A term used in comment sections of social media. If you say "ratio" on a post then you get more likes than the original post then you won the ratio. If they said ratio and got more likes then you lose the ratio. When you win a ratio people will reply W but when you lose people with reply L. A ratio can also apply when you make a post and you get more replies than likes then you got ratioed.

Otaku.
It is a derogatory term in my native language so it was really shocking a few years ago when someone told me, happily, 'I'm an otaku!'
Borrowed words evolve in meaning but this one bothers me a lot.
Bias, when used by kpop fans.
'Thats my bias' doesn't sound correct to me.
(Also slightly unrelated I feel slight rage when someone who needed to use an Oxford comma just.. Doesn't.
