I'm so amused by the fact that as a fresh-faced high school student I thought university would be fun and full of parties.
Hahaha how wrong I was I whisper as I cry [about assignments] into my 8th cup of coffee for the day.

[[This morning I woke up to a really loud siren which isn't all that unusual around here, but then there was a loud car idling outside my house.
Naturally, since there had also been a quieter car idling outside the night before, I just got up and looked out the window to see a fire truck.
My half awake brain went "Oh, it's only a fire truck. I'm just gonna- OHMYGOD THERE'S A FIRE TRUCK DID I SLEEP THROUGH A FIRE ALARM?!"
As it turned out they were actually at the neighbors', they just parked in front of my house because there was space. I really need to start going to bed before 3 AM lol]]
