    Got some killer deals on a crib and stroller for black friday! I hate spending any amount of money so getting some big ticket items for about $100 off each is a win in my book.

    Also somehow managed to get a cold while never leaving my house and the hubby has been a complete angel. This man looked up the best tea for a cold, learned to steep loose leaf tea, and prepped me a cup of hot tea with honey to help me feel better. He then (after six years of living with my tea obsession) decided that wow, this stuff is pretty good and made himself a cup <3

    Finally got some moving stuff ironed out today as well! We'll be moving overseas next summer and figuring out how to juggle the dogs, a newborn, a cat, and all our other stuff at the airport was definitely stressing me out. Finally decided that the big doggos will get to stay with my parents on their big property and be pampered to heck while the army sorts out our living arrangements in Europe.

Saw friends who were gone over turkey day,we talked about "Planned Parenthood" pro and con,''CONFLICTING ELECTION",''WHOSE WEARING MASKS"and ''WHO'S NOT'' " ''CHIROPRACTOR'' who made my day. I'M NOT SURE how to discuss things that would reveal my age or not or really were personal.You cannot tell who I am. :what: 8-

In one of my classes, we started doing choreography yesterday. I am absolutely HORRENDOUS at dancing, but I tried to do better than I did yesterday, and my teacher came up to me after class and told me she was really impressed with how well I was doing ;-;

        oh my gosh, i got feedback for my 2nd fiction piece in eng301 & i am f l y i n g right now!! they gave me so many positive comments & i'm going to document it here so when i'm feeling down i can read it all & feel a little encouragement.

        "This is excellent work!" "It's accessible, intimate and somehow both dialogue-driven and rife with compelling historical detail." "[Name] is a terrific protagonist, and her voice is authentic. Her capacity to note both large and small details, coupled with her deft balance of interior and observation, make her a constantly engaging narrator." "The poem from [name] is outstanding." "Strong. very smart structure." "evocative and fresh!" "Practically cinematic!" "Nice small telling detail" "There really is a magic to the evocation, filled with both small and large details." "Sly shift in diction!" "This is very strong, intimate…it takes a familiar gesture and makes it very particular to this moment and this couple." "Another expert sentence that shows their small world in the light of the larger world threatening to intrude." "Just an outstanding shift in technique. It’s length and pace are strong." "Smart understatement here…let the room speak for the narrator and the reader." "This is quite strong too. The point of view here is being truly inhabited." "this is very strong and will connect with contemporary readers in unique ways…" "The integration of her voice into and out of the leaflet’s voice is very effective."

        "I enjoyed it a lot!" "very engaging and well written, and I’m excited for its potential." "This passage has a lot of authority, and introduces the story with great historical research and background, which is present throughout the story." "The first scene does a good job of introducing the main character right away and describing what she’s about, her inner thoughts, while depicting the scene" "I like the looming threat of danger and the fact that no one is safe here. I think it works well, and does up the stakes subtly over the course of the piece. I also really liked the pacing, and the sophisticated narrative voices. I really felt as if the writing inhabited this character, and helped the audience to inhabit her, too. Overall, I really enjoyed the piece. Thank you for sharing it with us."

        "good introduction, does a nice job establishing setting & tone." "This part of the scene does a very good job at making the audience nervous." "I love this epithet!" "I like the poem! makes me think of cottagecore animal farm." "Excellent reference." "This work does an excellent job at immersing the reader." "Throughout the work, the writing is well done and helps along the plot. There’s a great deal of imagery, and important moments take up just as much space on the page as they need." "The overall tone gives the reader a wonderful sense of dread, since the protagonist is putting herself in a great deal of danger, and it allows the audience to root for her throughout and hope that she does not meet a horrible fate as she fears."

        "Love the historical background. This really sets the tone of the story." "Good opening line, prepares us for immediate conflict." "Love the vocabulary." "Great description." "Great that you can label the rifles, adds to the authenticity." "Good use of thought to introduce her name, good use of phrase and sound." "Solid description." "Great description and use of scent." "Wow. Love the innocence of a child’s fairytale twisted into a story about ..." "It is great that this flashback has conflict and danger. The danger seems inescapable, and it is a sad reality." "I love this story and really want to know what comes next!" "I love that you used your expertise in a historical subject to create this piece of fiction." "I trust the accuracy of the information and the use of German felt authentic." "I really liked the way you used scent and sound in your writing and would continue to use them as you expand, the pacing was also solid." "I love learning history from fiction, and this story had a perfect mixture of storytelling and history where I learned a lot while my attention was still held by the drama of the story." "I am very invested in the history of this story and this time period, and I thought this piece did a great job of teaching me about the White Rose Resistance. I would love to see this continued!"

        i am just so overwhelmed by gratitude, holy shoot. i literally went upstairs & screamed with joy & danced around the house. i love it when people connect with my work!! ♥♥♥
