"SAVE THE WOLVES!" What about other animals? You don't care about animals, you care about the pretty/cute ones. I'm tired of everyone screaming "SAVE THE WOLVES!" when they aren't even endangered. Yes, there are endangered wolves. But they're not the grey wolf which is the one most stupid wolfaboos (wolfaboo = psychotic wolf fan) complain about because that's the only wolf they know about to begin with.
It's ridiculous. People go out and gas, choke with smoke, and shoot hundreds sometimes thousands of rattlesnakes in one event every year and nobody cares. Endangered migratory bats are getting shredded in wind turbines by the truckload, not a single pissed off activist in sight. But one wolf gets shot and people are up in arms picketing and moaning about how omgmeen Sarah Palin is to wolves or something equally inane and baseless.
tl;dr: Unless you show concern for an endangered caterpillar or vulture or some animal that isn't cute/mystical/pretty, stfu about wolves.

As sad as I would be to see certain species go extinct, there's still others out there that people need to do something about. There's enough people on wolves already, go save some bats or something.
