So, the other day was region drama. I was excited because I felt sure I would make it to State next month. After a full day, I was feeling very good about how my pantomime went. When I got to school the next morning, I saw that I only made it as an alternate so I wouldn't get to go to state(state drama is my entire reason for living. I was crushed) So I got home after school and my friend(who was at region) gets on Yahoo and immediately starts bragging about how he gets to go to state. I told him that I don't get to go and he, rather than being sympathetic, starts telling me all the things I could have done better and why his pantomime was so much better than mine >:( I was seriously about ready to throw my computer on the floor and stomp on it.
And then, to make things worse, he starts trying to apologize for bragging so much. I wanted to throttle him right then and there. Instead, I just logged off an went to bed. But still, ugh, I am still fuming about it. Who was he to tell me that he was soooooo much better at pantomime and that he could help me make mine sooooo much better when he has only done it once in his life!? [/endrant]

Yes, you probably are thinking of the same person. Needless to say, I'm not getting on Yahoo tonight or probably tomorrow either.
