I found it after Reddit and other huge social media sites became worse and worse, and I realized that I really missed being part of smaller art-focused communities. I was part of oekakis when I was younger but they're all inactive now so I searched for active oekakis, and stumbled onto CS! From here I joined a UMA community that I love, also started playing FlightRising, DragonCave, PixelCatsEnd, making online friends again and getting back into digital and pixel art. I'm so happy I found this place! For me it's been a gateway into a much more meaningful online experience that I actually get excited about instead of just doomscrolling on big social media sites. <3

I rediscovered marapets when bored one night and wound up binging several different pet adoption sites as a result after googling more pet adoption sites! Initially didn't care much, but the Halloween event we just had changed how I felt and now I'm obsessed (and also still playing marapets now too, the others didn't stick as well )
