I'm okay with people being of different religions. I just don't like when people use a religious argument for things such as abortion and homosexual marriage and things like that (I don't mean to bring up such hot-button topics, but I'm doing a debate on abortion in one class and a paper on homosexual marriage in another so they're kind of what I've got on my mind right now). I mean, these issues effect people of all religions and people of no religions. One of my favorite lines from the movie we watched about abortion was when an older woman confronted the doctor and said "How do you expect to live a good Christian life when you do what you do?" (or something along those lines) and the doctor replied, "I don't. I'm Jewish." xD The entire class laughed at that, no matter what side of the issue we were on.

I don't care if I'm going to hell for saying stuff like this, so I hope people don't bother to tell me so.

I agree, we can't use the bible's standards as a base for laws in our society. not everyone is christian, so even though it is the biggest religion here, it just isn't fair to base laws on biblical beliefs. If you want to argue against abortion or something, use facts and logic, not personal beliefs that may or may not be true.
I'm against abortion, but because I value all life, not because some dead guy wrote it in a book

I didn't really mean to start a whole thing about abortion. Arguing about it annoys me, and I see no point in it because, chances are, we're not going to get anywhere. I'm Pro-Choice, but that's all I'm saying.

I understand pro-choice in some situations, but if there's really no reason other than they don't want it or don't think they can take care of it, that's just not fair. Adoption is there for a reason *was adopted*

I've read it's because a lot of kids who are adopted are usually messed up, because of their parents having crack or whatever.
