May I just jump in and say chickens are natural cannibals. They eat anything. That's why there are cases where chickens eat their own eggs.
They're animals. It's natural.

Why some animals will eat their young if they have nothing else to eat (hamsters or chickens, for example) that's because they are in desperate measures to survive. But force-feeding cows other cows, just so they can save money, well... that's inhumane. How would you like it if for dinner, your mother served up your best friend on a plate to save money? It's not like the cows have nothing else to eat, and they have no choice. It's the fact the humans decide to treat them this way, by grinding up cow and giving it to them. Yuck.
And what makes it even worse is I've just had a McDonald's... Well, I just had potato wedges, so at least I wan't killing animals.
