What made your day? (V.3)

today was very slow at work (fires are keeping everyone inside, and for good reason), so i got to spend lots of time with the daughters of my boss. i work at a family restaurant, and they have three daughters, one around my age, one who is in elementary school, and a toddler. they took me in very quickly, and they make working a lot of fun. plus, the middle one gets me lots of tips because she is so unbelievably charismatic. i dunno how she does it, but i appreciate it lmao

an artist i like is releasing a podcast today and that's probably gonna be the highlight of this sucky day

it's only mid-september but we're already having autumn weather & i am LIVING FOR IT
like this morning it was 45° when i left for my run so we're getting those chilly fall mornings, & now the sun is out but there's still a breeze so it's lovely, & i've been burning my candles & reading gothic lit for my class on the sunny enclosed porch & i'm basking in autumn right now.

also, i ate soup & bread for dinner.

finally accepting that i need something to help me cope with my rapidly declining mental health + getting validation from my friends is ,, kind of nice. i've been putting stuff like this off for years and i guess now is the time when i really need to utilise it.

I bought almond milk to venture into the alternative milk scene as I am extremely lactose intolerant and though almond milk isn't my cup of tea it did mean I was able to eat cereal without it being dry for the first time in years!!
