I love Halloween! I'm going as Alice from Alice in Wonderland (I prefer Tim Burton's version)! When my sisters and I are done trick or treating, we seperate our candy! I think it might of been two years ago, we had a huge pile of non-chocolate candy, and a huge pile of chocolate candy! I am so excited for this year!

I'm going as a ninja this year. I just got my costume yesterday, but since it was in the little boys section at a party store, it's a little small :\. Ever since my brother was old enough to trick or treat, after we get home we always trade any candy we don't want with eah other. It works perfectly because I only don't like things like mint or tootsie rolls, and he doesn't like things like butterfingers or peanut buttercups. I have got my friends to do it too this year so I won't be stuck with candy I hate

I was going to think of something super-creative at the last minute, or otherwise just tape over the word Junior on my Junior lifeguard shirt and find a whistle and go as a lifeguard, but I finally thought of a costume, but I have to do a little background explaining first.
Ok, so on the Charlie Brown Halloween special, they're all going as ghosts, so they just do the whole two-holes-in-a-white-sheet thing, but Charlie Brown, being Charlie Brown, manages to cut holes all over his. That's what I'm doing, Hopefully it will work. If not, it's not a big deal, because I'm not going to have many opportunities to wear it, seeing as there's three things Halloween costumes function for and mine doesn't work for three: a) wearing to school in Friday afternoon. Works well enough, I'll wear it, but probably will have to take it off sometimes like the last time I was a sheet ghost. b) Halloween dance Friday evening. You can't bust a move in a ghost costume very well, so I'll probably wear orange and black or something. c) Trick-or-Treating/Handing out candy (or both!). I'm not trick-or-treating because I'm working lighting at our community centre's Haunted House so I can take 5 hours off of my Junior Lifeguarding, even though I don't think I have 5 hours left to work, and I usually don't dress up to hand out candy when Halloween is on a weekend, because during the afternoon, I just hand out candy betwwen practising paino and saxophone and doing homework, and I can't do anything productive while wearing a costume.

I have finally found a costume idea for me to wear! I'm being a jester! I got a bunch of pieces for it at a thrift store today, and I'm altering it to fit right, and stitching bells all over to make it more jester-ish. I'm also going to add a bunch of ribbon.

Halloween is my favorite Holiday, not because of the candy, but the scary feeling that comes with it. I love the theme of Halloween <3
