Something you didn't know til recently?

when making a silicone mold for a complex shape (anything that will tear a mold if you pull it straight out) you must divide your mold into two or more parts instead of pouring all in one go. I recently got into making silicone molds and I'm enjoying the challenge

much easier though to make a mold for a simple shape (conical, spherical, cube)

That my dog has been mimicking my head and arm movements to try to communicate with me!

When he wants something he'll sit up and put his paws together, and like wave them at me.
I wave at people, or animals to get their attention (old habit from learning sign language)

He may also occasionally sneeze at me, (or huff) or talk (a few rOwrOws). I didn't realize it until now, but it's funny that he decided that this was the best way to talk to me lol

that spf 30 sunscreen is like the lowest you can buy but there isn't really a point in buying anything higher because the higher numbers are only marginally better than spf 30

spf 30 blocks over 96% of the sun's UV rays whereas like 50 spf blocks out like 98% nothing notable, there's NO SUCH THING as 100% blockage of UV rays so like spf 30-70 is good, don't worry about getting spf 100 it's not rlly worth it

someone said that wl pets in the pound appear differently from other pets but i didn't know that meant showing up at the bottom of the page with no differentiation besides a tiny star and tiny words saying the pet is on your wl.

i figured there'd at least be a colored box around the pet or something so that you don't miss it like i almost did.

This happened a while ago, due to my deuteranopia I never knew traffic lights had 3 COLORS of light they would switch through! No one ever told me till I brought it up saying something similar to "having matching colors on a sign seems dumb when the colors are supposed to indicate something" in a car with my sister. Yall better watch out for me once I get my drivers permit lmao
