What's Your Character "Type"?

Humanoid characters with inhuman features: faceless, extremely sharp teeth, extra limbs and appendages, and essentially any deviation that would make a character design go from "human" to "weird". Horns, wings, and tails generally don't count because there's not a body horror or necessarily "unnatural" factor to them, since they're mostly flair and not meant to be unsettling.

Robots and characters in full armor too.

My reply was way way too long so I tried my best to shorten it but.. It's still really long, sorry.

Random characters that fit my vibe:

Canti from FLCL

I really like this trope, the robot that uses its display to convey emotion.

Eris from Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
She's based off of the goddess of discord.


All the characters from Ferngully, especially the villain:


(Like the past two examples, huge characters in terms of size, silky fluid animation/movement, like Eris's hair.
Or smoke oozing out like in Ferngully.
It is so satisfying and I love characters that are made/described that way.)

Other examples:
✧ Quiet or completely silent characters but they're super cool like Jay from Lookism!!
✧ Baymax from Big Hero 6.
✧ Hades & the Muses from Disney's Hercules.
✧ Basically every character from Spirited Away.
✧ Almost all characters David Eddings thought up, especially Durnik and Silk.
✧ Dryads, sirens/mermaids, elves.
✧ Rough tough dude but is actually chill.
(Not tsundere. Just grumpy/not super happy)
✧ Amanome Seiji from Death Mark.
✧ Characters that walk and plants grow. Or mountains, an island that is actually a super old being like a turtle or goddess idk.
✧ Ed and the corgi from Cowboy Bebop.
✧ Ghosts/supernatural beings that are just helpful/nice.

- Robots in general, but I like them a lot more if they have a personality (probably the reason I'm not really into mecha anime) usually large ones e.g the Iron Giant, Mother (I Am Mother) Transformers, that kind of thing

- Big tough guy/woman who's a softie (usually they're himbos/herbos) e.g Kronk, Scorpia, Raphael (ROTTMNT), Knuckles

-Characters based off objects, or humanoids in general

-Aliens e.g Four Arms (Ben 10), GroundCouncil woman (Lilo and Stitch), the Arrival aliens

Any animal characters, I love them all! Especially cats though haha. Also foxes, foxes are super cute ^^

I am much more picky when it comes to human characters... But I do tend to lean towards nerdy/science loving/bookworm characters lol. Especially if they are actually pretty sweet and well meaning but still have some flaws.
