strange things you find calming?

Lying on the floor. Sometimes it just feels better to lie on a hard flat surface rather than a bed. Preferably, I'm in complete silence, but since the people in my house seem to lack the ability to be quiet, I put on white noise or calming music.

I think I'm going to lie on the floor now.

I find that throwing hockey on in the background of whatever I'm doing is extremely relaxing. It even helps me sleep better at night. Although it's a little strange because I don't care too much for the sport.

ASMR on you tube. Particularly the ones where they use a makeup brush over the microphone and camera lens. The latter makes me sleepy very quickly, which is good since I have trouble falling asleep sometimes. There are a few other asmr sounds I like, but the brushing is the best in my opinion. I also like the sounds of singing bowls sometimes. Oh and when we have the free preview of dog tv some of the sounds on there are soothing lol.

playing my favorite horror game on voice chats makes me very at ease when the game's not scaring the crap out of me and i dont know why
like, specifically when i play it on a vc. when im not playing it on a vc i get really anxious

listening to intense/psychopathic songs as I fall asleep :') (control, cradles, bury a friend, panic room, are all good ones)

really fast-tempo music, like speedcore or just generally high-bpm or noisy hardcore/breakcore songs. i don't know why but it makes me feel really at ease and helps me focus with a lot of stuff
