This isn't a parody but it's a song I made up and fell in love with...called Catherby's Song. something you'd hear at the beach or someplace.
Along the seashore's briny sand
Docking ships, importing fish
Sailors for a drink--
But they find none,
Cause here we don't serve drugs
To seaworn cursing thugs
The sun is shining bright,
Fish are alive,
Nets are cast, harpoons are passed
(higher) It's all joy and life,
Everything's its own song
We could waste the day away
In Ca - ther - by...
Catherby is never gray
Listen to, the rolling waves,
Markets never close--
They're full to the brim
Cause here you never know
What you'll find and where you'll go
Laughter fills the air (gotta say it with sort of a long a)
As a sailor tells his tale
The busy streets
Make me complete
It's all fun and bright
Everything's its own song
Go ahead, spend the day
In Ca - ther - by...
(quieter) Go ahead, spend the day....
In Catherby
