I'm so happy the Olympics are in Canada again...it makes me so proud to be canadian. I only wish i could be there...

I stayed up to see most of the opening ceremony last night, and I loved it! The whales and that huge bear were amazing, and the fiddler in the canoe reminded me of the pointy-haired boss from the Dilbert comics. I also loved the native costumes, I thought those were cool.

Go USA!!

It was an amazing opening ceremony too. Of all the things that could've gone wrong it had to be the pillar.

I stayed up for the whole thing. :3 I like the Beijing Opening Ceremony from two years ago way better, personally, but I'm more of a strict, tightly structured performance person anyways. To me, some of the choreographing was a little weird...like how they the people were so small in realitivity to the huge trees and such...:\ But it was okay. ^ ^ The projecter stuff was absolutely stunning, as was the music(but Halleluiah as the last song? Hmmm.), I just prefer China's Opening Ceremony instead, haha.

But I always like the Parade of Nations, and I thought the Native American/Aboriginal part was excellent.
