I believe voluntary euthanasia should be allowed, but with restrictions. I don't think someone should be able to walk to the doctor's office and say, "I'd like to die today." I also think there should be a limit on it, unless they are horridly suffering. They should wait a certain amount of time. What if they change their mind, or some radical cure comes out not too long after?

Hey, anyone got an opinion on vollentary euthanasia? Like for people, I mean.
I'm writing a paper for english on weather or not people with degenerative diseases and such should be allowed the option to kill themselves. Anyway, I was wondering what other people thought?
I'm fine with it, in some cases. There is a disease out there, I'm blanking on the name D;, that basically, turns you into a 'vegetable'. If there is someone with that, or another critical disease that has no cure but a rarely-effective 'cure', I think they should be allowed one. But I think someone who is emotionally depressed should not be allowed voluntary euthanasia.

I think so too. Espechially in the case of degenerative diseases where there's no cure.
I am an ancient relic from a forgotten time.
When will you rise?

I think we've all (most of us, at least) decided it's a cucumber. Though you may call it a pickle, I'm pretty sure that would be incorrect.

Yeah, I agree. I think it depends on the case.

Yeah, when it came out, I actually saw some debate about it. The way I see it, it's "newborn" stage was a cucumber, and it aged into a pickle, hence the bumps all over it in its final stage. So I think it would be fair to call it either. ^u^ But then again that's just how it looked to me, I'm probably wrong.

Only if they have a disease or illness that is not likely to be cured, not because of emotional(not really the right word, sorry) reasons.

I think that as long as they want to, and they're in the right state to be able to decide, then it should be allowed. There's no point in living if you're in a state where you can't do anything and you're constantly being pumped with drugs and you're all alone.
