Can you please not pray that others convert to your religion? We find it incredibly offensive when someone does against our will, and I also don't think praying that someone converts is allowed on CS, if I recall the discussions on the religion thread correctly. It may be here on this thread, but please. I just wanted to say, if someone is not of your religion and doesnt want to be, maybe you should spend some happy time with them instead of constantly trying to convert them and making their last hours filled with discussions they dont want to have. Try to see it from their point of view. What if you lay there, dying, and someone kept wanting to tell you about their religion and their hell? That you could only be saved if you believed in their god, otherwise you'd burn forever. Is that something you'd like to hear throughout your last days? Or would you rather have some happy last days, filled with love?
I don't mean to tell you what you have to do, but please understand that it can be offensive to us when someone prays against our will.
Also, sorry for popping in here like this, I really am.

I have an inspiring peronal tory that you guys might like to hear. About two years ago, my moms best friend, Amy Krueger, we called her "Kruegs", was murdered in the shooting of Fort Hood. About four years before that, at my parent wedding, she came up to me and held her hand out and asked me to dance. I was nine, and there was cake on the other side of the room so of course, i got embarassed and said no. Little did i know she was going to be one of thirteen victims of a horrible terrorist attack 4 years later. I regret that night every time i think about her, every time i think about how every weekend my mom had her friends over and i got to see Amy, and now she is gone. About a month ago i stumbled apon her personal facebook page in my suggedted friends section, so i wanted to send her a message. I sent her a long message saying im sorry and the first thing i will do is dace with her when i get to heaven. About a week later i saw it had a little checkmark by the message saying she saw it. I couldnt belive it, so i emailed FB tech support and they said her account has been unactive for about two years...

in response to your story... wow... just wow...

No matter how fragile we are, no matter our own story,
This is what we promise. We will

I will pray for your phobia :3)

I have a similar story: Gracie Jane Moore, my adopted cousin. My aunt(Ramona) is barren and can't have children, so she adopts. Gracie's mom was a drug addict and didn't want Gracie. My aunt jumped at the opportunity to be the mother of Gracie. After a month or so of court cases and other things my aunt got Gracie! She brought her over to my house (all our family was there) and everyone erupted wanting to hold our new cousin/aunt/granddaughter. My grandfather(who only had two strokes at the time) was able to hold her. I was 5 and I could only play with her on the ground. My sister was 9 and was able to hold her. 3 years passed and my aunt was driving with Gracie on February 7. A light had turned and my aunt stopped, a car didn't and crashed I to her small car. Gracie being in the back had her neck broken. They were rushed to the hospital but nothing could help my angel Gracie. The chapel held a service but my aunt couldn't stop saying "MY BABY! WHERE'S MY BABY?!" It was the first time I had seen a coffin. I was 7 when she died. A few years after her death my family went to the beach. No pine trees were insight yet a single pine come lay there on the beach. I still have that pine come and a little blanket bear because they were and are Gracie's, my little angel.

Pretty much the only experience I have had where I SAW God was when my grandmother died. I had spent a night with my cousin while my mom was at the hospital with my Grandmother. As it turns out, she passed that night. And, about ten minutes after she died, I woke up to a bright white light in my dreams. From then on, I assumed it was her saying goodbye. Anyone else have a story like that?
(I was around six or seven at the time...)
