i don't know why, but i get kinda annoyed when i spend a long time dressing up a pet, put a lot of thought in it, and i post it on the 'fun ways to use items' thread, and all those sappy ones get the comments.

This. I spend forever plotting out the dress up and a poem/story and post it. I get nothing but then something from a popular user comes along and everybody drools over it. .n.

My dad's been watching some weird show for many hours each day for the past couple days and it's really starting to annoy me since I like to sit on the couch in front of the downstairs TV but I don't want to keep watching that weird show. It has so many disturbing scenes.

I read Frankenstein this year just for fun, and I had a billion people say "oh, what class is that for?" and then they stared at me like I was crazy when I said I just wanted to read it. It was so pathetic. Seriously, what's so wrong with the classics? I love To Kill A Mockingbird. Heck, I named my dog Scout. And Shakespeare? I'm not sure how they even still allow that in schools, it's freaking hilarious! There's just no respect for the classics, man. It's so sad. Popular literature just simply sucks these days.

I know what you mean. >~> I read The Turn of the Screw the last semester of school, and it was amazing. I also read a lot of Sherlock Holmes when I was... younger. Considerably younger. I love the classics, but I like other literature as well. Ender's Game, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. A lot of science fiction.
