How old are you?: I'm turning 13 in a few weeks
You've been a member for how long: Since October 2008, so a year and 3 months.
How much time you spend on CS average day or week? About 6 hours or more a week.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I do :3
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: Because I know exactly what it is like to be a newbie and to be flamed over and over (not on this forum, on another) so I would like to be able to help with that.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Yes, but it was so long ago that I don't even remember the site name. And I was only chosen because I was the person's friend, sooo...
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: No, sorry. I'm not good with stuff like that. Will that keep me from being chosen, Lol XD

How old are you? (this question is optional): 15 (I'm 16 on February 22)
You've been a member for how long: since September 1st, so almost 5 months
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Minimum, half an hour, maximum, 1 hour (On weekdays) minimum 2 hours, maximum 3 hours (on weekdays) [every single day ^^]
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I'm very sure I do.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Definitely!
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I remember being a newbie myself, and how people treated me so horribly at first. I don't want other people to go through what I did and quit CS or something... So yeah! I wanna do something good for the chickensmoothians!
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Umm, my clan in gaiaonline.com? (here's the link: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/?guild ... &is_clan=1 )
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Peace-bringers! ^^

Great idea! ^^ I second Leviethan's question though, since my inbox tends to be pretty full as it is: will newbie-helpers get more inbox space?

How old are you? (this question is optional): Adult
You've been a member for how long: 10 months
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: I leave CS open on my computer all day and check it frequently for new posts, so right now I'm around pretty much nine to eleven hours a day, so roughly 60 hours a week at minimum. Oh, man, I have no life! XD If I get the job I'm going for, that might drop to five hours per weekday or so, maybe 43 hours per week.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes - I've been here for a while, am fairly forum-proficient, stay up-to-date on all the rules for each forum area, read through the announcements and information threads, and try to keep tabs on what the mods have said on various issues. I'm also a regular in the Commonly Asked Questions thread as it is.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes - I try to help people learn how to find things out for themselves, but I have a lot of patience for questions, since I can still remember being new here and on other games and having the same stupid questions myself. ^^

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I love helping people out, introducing them to the different aspects of the game, giving advice to those who need it, and just trying to include people in the CS community. When I first joined CS, I was very nervous about posting in the forums because I was afraid of making some ridiculous mistake, and I really didn't know what I was doing or how things worked, as I'd never been on an adoptables site like CS before. Mostly I lurked around the forums watching what other people did and trying to figure out how things like trading and rarities worked on my own (this was before all the guides were created in the forum on how to trade and such). Now I see new people coming to CS who are just as unsure about things as I was initially, and I'm able to help them out so they don't have to be as worried about messing up and can instead get right into all the fun of CS without going through such a fish-out-of-water stage. ^^ I think having an official group of people to answer new players' questions and help them get involved in the game is a brilliant idea that would greatly enhance the new people's enjoyment of CS, as well as reduce the risk of them getting taken advantage of in trading or being scolded by others for making mistakes due to their lack of knowledge on how CS and the forums work. I already try to answer people's questions and help them out as much as possible, and still will regardless of whether I'm an official 'newbie helper' or not, but I'd love to be a part of the official group so it would be easy for new players to see that I'm someone they can come to with questions. I've actually been considering putting something in my signature to that effect (Have Questions? Ask Me!), since a lot of people feel awkward about posting what might be considered stupid questions in the public forum but might feel easier about sending a private message to someone.

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Not officially, though I have run/modded smaller forums (for guilds, alliances and such) within other games. Unfortunately, those are all long since deleted, since it was a few years ago.

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: 'Official CS Greeters'? 'The Help Squad'? 'Help's Angels'? XD Yeah, I'm not too great with catchy names...

Hmm.... Not to be mini-modding here, or anything, but.... I've noticed that some people are kind of *lying* about their join date (i.e. one person said March 2008, when in reality it was actually March *2009*; and another person said December 2008, yet they only joined in September of 2009!!). Do they *REALLY* think that Tess won't see their *ACTUAL* join date in the margin next to their post?! I kind of think that if people are dishonest enough to be lying about their join date to TESS, then, well, they don't deserve the job....

Also, my opinion is that people with more posts should have more of a chance! ;) I mean, if you joined last year, but only have, like.... 30 posts, or something, and you only post in the RP sections, then chances are you're not that ready for the job, anyways.

Just my crazy little opinion.... >:3 NOT meant to offend anybody, of course. Probably just being too bluntly honest! ^_^; XD >:O

How old are you? (this question is optional): >20 - Adult
You've been a member for how long: Since November '08
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: At least an hour a day, normally more. I get on whenever I can, and obviously would be even more punctual if I had an actual job to do.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes, I've been around.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes - I will occasionally get impatient (as any sane human would), but I know when to shut up if I feel I can't deal with someone politely. This happens pretty rarely though, so I don't see how it would affect me.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I already help newbies out a lot - I try to answer their questions when I have time, and I just generally enjoy being helpful. I'm not the most well-known member around here, but I know my way around and feel I would do well with a job like this. ^^
I also remember what it was like to be a newb (more than a year ago, o.O), and understand how confusing everything is as first. CS has it's own economy and culture, and I find the best way to help newbies is to be a sort of "interpreter" to this culture before they can interpret it themselves.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Not for a long time, since I'm too busy for more demanding moderation. I'd link, but most all of the places I've been a moderator at have either been deleted or I no longer have the link.
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: I don't know, Forum Buddy? I'm honestly blanking out on this. I guess it'd be better anyway to have something with nice plain language like that, though, so I recommend sticking with it.

I also echo Atwood's question about inbox space. XD
