I'm a Christian ^^
...And I was just wondering, do any of you celebrate Lent?
I go to a Christian/Catholic school and part of our class project is too have a short interview with people who celebrate lent and their views on it (for example "Is there a noticeable transformation with those who practice lent?" ect.) If any one could help me that would be a great help T_T

I'm Christian and I have no idea what lent is. Could someone tell me?

I'm not Catholic so I wouldn't know.

Lent is a time, near Easter, in which you give up something you enjoy, in order to focus on God, if I'm not mistaken. It's something of a fast, except you choose one thing in your life, and it doesn't need to be food.
My one friend gave up television. Another candy.

I'm not Catholic, but I do believe Lent is a good thing to practice--not only for spiritual discipline and focus, but for general discipline as well. Humans are selfish creatures, and I think it would be beneficial if we all practiced Lent. I only don't practice Lent because I don't remember it often ^^;

Yeah, we call it the 'Daniel Fast' in out church, and we give up something for two weeks. We are only allowed to eat fruit and veg, and we have to give up electronics and urniture... makes it kinda awkward at school...

{ Hey...I haven't been on here in a while, but I'll pray for anybody who has requests <3 Lately, I've been feeling just a bit pressured. I'd like some prayers. It's probably because my mom's still recovering from cellulitis and she's trying to build a schedule for my sister and I again. I've gotten too used to living without a schedule and resting until 10am in the morning and maybe it's just making me have to exert myself some more. I got allergies for going outside for only an hour. It's bumming me out, because I want to feel awake and refreshed and I'm still dogged with worry sometimes. Thanks to anyone who can pray for me <3 }
