How old are you?:
14

You've been a member for how long:
Nine months, eight days. But I've been here since November 008, I changed accounts.

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?:
Right now my comp is broken so I can't be on as much, I'm getting t back around Monday. But I usually spend 11+ hours a week on CS.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?:
I'm very confident I am able to answer most any question there is.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?:
Yep, I am very patient.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?:
I like helping people on and off the internet. It would make my day to know that people think of CS as a friendly community, and I'd love to help that be achieved.

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link:
Yep, here's one of them:
http://www.dragonfaith.net/
I have done four others, but I am unable to locate the links sorry.

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?:
Can't think of anything better, I'm bad at names.

How old are you? (this question is optional): Old enough 8D

You've been a member for how long: Since August 2008, Knew about CS since April 08

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: I get on CS daily, and spend the vast majority of my time on the actual forum.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I think I do, considering I've tackled probably all of em' in the book. (Well, maybe not all :])

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. Every now and then people ask me for links, answers, and assistance. I wish I had a dollar for how many times I've been asked how to adopt pets. xD But nonetheless I have helped multiple people get around on the site.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: Why wouldn't I? I enjoy helping people, and have always had patience when the same question has been repeated... and repeated... and repeated. I help people out all the time, especially during the advent when they had questions about how it worked and such. Overall, I just really want to help people fit in on CS. I remember clearly that when I joined, I was scammed out of half my Julys, and didn't know it until a few months later. I had given all their codes away without anyone superiors in knowledge to tell me I was making a bad move... <backontopic> I would want to help people avoid making the same mistakes that I made, and I want to guide them to a successful future on CS.

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: I'm a mod in a few places, but they're all sites that never really 'caught on'. In fact, the majority are dead. But the sites are privately run by friends in RL, so if you would be interested in the URLS, I could send you a PM so they aren't thrown out into the public. :]

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Hmmmm.... Whatever sounds good to everybody else xD

How old are you? (this question is optional): 13
You've been a member for how long: Eh about 10 months or so..
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Two much to count
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yup.^^ I know all the rules very well I could probably answer them in my sleep. XD
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Oh yeah. I could win an award for dealing with the stupid questions I get during science class.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I want to be a newbie-helper because I love helping out. I'm pretty patient with others who ask PM me random questions. I have the self-control to not lash out at someone just because they haven't been on the site long enough and are a little confused. I have had past experience helping out newbies not just on forums, I've volunteered at boy scout day camps, and summer horse riding camps. I have skills with dealing with new younger players as well. I get on CS a ton and I love getting PMs. I would love to be a newbie-helper for CS. If I am not chosen I respect your choice.

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: New Crew, The Beginner Brigade. XD

Hope I'm not too late^^
This is a very good idea!
a technical question though... would the Newbie-helpers get more room in their inboxes?
Mine is full all the time, and I know it's not only me xD
and soon i'll only have the "i wanna save"-msgs left..

How old are you? (this question is optional):

close to 20

You've been a member for how long:
since mid-december 2008... = 1 year and a month (more or less)

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?:
I go online every day (unless something gets in the way), and stay on for at least an hour, usually more.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?:
Yes, definately!

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?:
(there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers) yes

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?:
Couple of reasons; first of all I wasn't too sure how CS worked when I first started, so I think this idea is great. Also, I like helping out and make people understand things (mmh, i work at a daycare, so I get a lot of that at work already xD)

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link:
only minor role-playing sites, but none of them are in use any longer. so i guess that makes it a no.

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?:

How old are you? (this question is optional): 26

You've been a member for how long: Since Jan-22-09 but have actually been around visiting the site since it was SWK
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: As little as 3hrs daily on average up to 4-6 hrs on an off day ^-^ Mostly weekends and Wed nights I have more time to be on. Otherwise it's before work, at lunch, and after work(after dinner with my kiddos)

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes. If I don't know the answer I can generally hunt it down quickly and I'm very resourceful.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Sure! I'm a daycare teacher. ^-~ I teach two year olds all day. I can so handle repetitive questions.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: Because it's something I enjoy doing already and would keep doing even if I didn't have a "title" for it. When I get a trade that looks like the player might be new I do some digging. If they are I'm always happy to lend a little advice. I'm also always happy to help when someone askes a question on the forums if I'm there. ((Chuckles)) Sometimes I"m ninja'd by other quite helpful people here!

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: No
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Lei Squad...? I was going to say Welcome Waggin but that seemed cheesie.

^^

How old are you? (this question is optional): Well, honestly I'd rather not say, but not an adult, or a little kid. x3 There be dangerous people out there so I'd really rather not say :p

You've been a member for how long: Since May of '09, but I've been visiting since March-April about, just never got an avvount until then. :3

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: It varies alot, but at least 1-2 hours on weekdays, and a few more on weekends. On almost every day though, except for a few random days I'm not on, but that isn't too often :3

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I really think so, I try to answer any questions I can, even if they're just simple questions, or how the site works, etc. I'm pretty confident about that, I think. C:

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: I do, at least as much patience a person can have ^^ I can promise I wouldn't explode if the same questions were asked over and over again, I can get impatient or kind of annoyed at things, like very other person on earth, but nobody's perfect. ;3
But I promise I won't flame them or face the annoyance towards them, and can promise I wouldn't explode if the same questions were asked over and over again, even if by the same person-- I can assure that. :3

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: Well, I don't like it when people randomly flame newbies for just being "new", {Doesn't happen a whole lot, but I've seen it happen before. ;3} Also, I try to help out whenever I can, if I see a new member with a question, and try to help as best as I can, without trying to sound like a "know-it-all" or acting like it's a question they should know. I try to explain it as well as I possibly can, and I don't mind if people PM me with questions, I'm happy to answer <33

I also try to make new members feel welcome here, I don't try to ignore them or exclude them in any way, just because they're new. I also try to greet new people and and make them feel comfortable here, it's a really fun site and I don't want people to leave, just because they think it feels "cold" or "unwelcoming", even if it's just at first.

I also remember when I was new how kind people were, and patient even when I asked the silliest questions, and how welcome people made me feel! I felt "safe" on this forum, and a few very kind members PMed me and said that if I had any questions that I was welcome to PM them and ask.

I really appreciated all of the things they did to make me feel welcome and comfortable thing, and I'd like to help out as much as I can and do the same things. C:

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Well, not really, although I started a site, called SkyeofDreams.myadopts.com, and the forum was located at http://www.SkyeofDreams.proboards.com. So honestly, I haven't had too much experience on other sites, but I would try my best and everybody has to have a start somewhere, right? :p

Also, even if I'm not chosen, I'll still try to help out--I've tried to as much as I can, and I didn't even see this until just now. "^^

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?:
Not yet, x3 Maybe I will sometime though :p

Good idea Tess!

How old are you? (this question is optional): 14.5 :P

You've been a member for how long: A little over a year

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: An average of 2 hours a day. However, I am in high school, so weekends tend to be more than weekdays. I'd say 8-10 hours a week.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes, I think I do. I may not have many posts, but I lurk nonstop. I'm constantly looking at new posts. And so I see lots of questions asked, and 98% of the time I know the answer.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yeah. I spend a lot of time working with little kids because I'm in Girl Scouts, so I have learned patience. Little kids and repetitive questions go hand in hand. Yeah, it gets annoying, but I get that every person who asks really doesn't know, and none of them are trying to be obnoxious, they just genuinely are curious. So I just give them the answer without getting upset.

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I want to be a newbie helper because I like to help and I understand how newbies feel. I am only now just beginning to post on the forums more (although I have lurked since I joined) so I understand wanting to meet people and make friends. I like talking to people and guiding them through their first days on a new site. When I joined, I was lost for awhile, and I want to help people make it over the learning curve. Also, being a newbie helper gives you the chance to meet some really nice people and make friendships. (Also some rude people, but what the heck, I'm not the kind of person who fights. I'm very passive)

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: I was a mod on a site that collapsed in one month with 22 members. I removed exactly one post (a double post) so lets go with no. But I am often in leadership positions where such things as newbies and rude people come around, so you could consider that real-life modding. XD

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Hmmm. "Your Friendly Neighborhood Question Answerer." No, wait, that is way too long. Maybe, "Greeters"? Sounds kind of like someone at a cafe or something. :P

You find your faith has been lost and shaken~~And maybe someday
Here's your chance and its worth takin'~~We'll figure all this out
Get on your knees and dig down deep~~Try to put an end to all our doubt
You can do what you think is impossible~~Try to find a way to make things better now and
Keep on believing, don't give in~~Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud
You got the strength to raise the win~~We'll be better off somehow
Remember what one dream can do~~Someday...
You are unstoppable~~Now wait, and try to find another mistake
