Oh I would absolutly love a japanese based event!
With tori and shrine items, wind-chimes, summer festival vibes, traditional clothing, japanese food, sparklers, Onsen items, Kitsune pets.. mythical creatures, old spirits - there's so much potential!

Was just about to suggest a Japanese summer festival theme! Would be so nice.

I think Greek/Roman mythology would be super nice too to explore and could have a lot of fun outcomes. Could even have some Percy Jackson inspiration - since a lot of people seemed to enjoy being given a cabin with the last summer event.

For my own suggestion - I think like an elemental type theme would be fun. Many seem to enjoy the elemental theme pets that get released (like the Malk cats) and having some more achievable rarer elemental pets would be cool. It could be an event similar to the internet one where the internet got a virus but instead all the elements have gone into chaos or something and the story follows something along the lines of helping work to bring harmony or similar :>
Plus all the new released pets could be said to be created from the elemental chaos too

My dream would be a carnival event theme.

We had one in 2020

So a couple of themes I'd be really interested in:

Art museum - A main foyer with wings dedicated to different mediums, we could have pets based on the different stages of pottery, mosaic pets, paint pets, modern art pets? pipe cleaner pets (we've had snakes before) and the like...we could have items like elaborate gilded painting frames, buckets of paint, globs of clay, a turntable,...It could come together really nicely, and would compliment some of the store items that released last year! I think we have a pet based on the Mona Lisa somewhere, that could be one of the npc's!

Cruise/Desert island? - perhaps we all go on a cruise (first area of the map) but the ship gets stranded on what appears to be a desert island? We must explore it to seek help from the secretive locals. Could have beach survival items, desert island tropical jungle items, campfire spit roasting food...

We've had a carnival, but how about a theme park? It could have different areas with different themes - i realise it could be stepping on the toes of the carnival event though.


Also totally support other's ideas for a western theme, i want a cowboy hat so bad, honey I shrunk chicken smoothie- giant bugs!

coming back to say +1 on the apocalypse theme i see going around now!! pets styled as though they're surviving in the apocalypse - and/or with items that you typically associate with characters in apocalyptic media wearing - or even pets that are styled like overgrown plants or buildings (like a stone/brick "texture" but cracked with weeds growing out) etc. very cool interactive potential with this too i think.

Bit of a weird idea but how about a Chicken Smoothie theme ?

The site is 16 years old, you could do quite a few things : a litter that's inspired from all previous events, pets designed after the different overlay themes and main forums, etc

We could have NPCs ruling the Pound, the Lost and Found or Oekaki.

(Need to clarify this would not be similar to the Internet event, but like an IRL version of this website.)
