hi guys. Do you think I am doing the right thing in repoting a user who joined today, yet has a lot of very rare and rare pets such as:

Blue rose dog - R ((but sort of VR))
Black eyed galaxy - VR
Toxic Rat (one of the parents of the recent Valentine rat couple) - VR
Light coloured paw rat - VR
Galaxy Bunny - VR
Cookie Advent bunny - VR
Heart and dogtag bunny - R

And let me remind you, they joined today.

Hmm.... maybe just PM Nick or something about it, but it may just be like DramaLlama's case where Nick joined two accounts together or something

I really don't understand how people can get so worked up about trades, I used to post a few of my most ridiculous trades in there for a chuckle or two, but people are so aggressive. >.> Most of the trades posted are relatively fair, too.

My tablet was to come today. The guy came rang the door bell once and my mom came from upstairs and he had left before she could even get donw stairs. We called Fedex and now I will not get it untill Tuesday!!! I paied $10 extra to get it in 2-3 days. I'm not happy and may FEDEX burn.

It's possible they got really lucky and picked up a zebra on their first day, and that they were then even more lucky and had someone who offered an actual fair trade for said zebra, which they accepted thus gaining a big stack of rares on their first day. If all the rares are from the same person, maybe poke around a bit and see if they've got a zebra. Itis also possible that it's a new account for an old member who needs to abandon their old one for some reason and so Nick moved over the pets they wanted to keep, or something along those lines.

I would think that they 'switched accounts' for whatever reason - all of the pets are from the one person, and the person's 'website' is thepersontheygotthepetsoff.deviantart.com. Thanks for all your help - I don't think it needs reported.

I'll give a scenario: Let's say you have four livestock animals, something big like horses. Someone feeds them in the morning, then takes off for work. Leaves gate open and all four escape. And it's not the first time the same person didn't close the gate properly and you had an escapee. The critters are back in, but I'm going to yell at the person when they get back.

The trade rant thread. It's good for letting off steam. Not

"OMG PLZ N00B TRADES!!!111!!!"

That's all they seem to do, they complain about not getting "n00b" trades. Then when they get one, they expect an ohsobig uproar about how totally unfair it is. To get attention they even make up trades which didn't exist. And some of their trades they try to rant about are actually fair.

And then they all gang up on a so-called "n00b", which infact is a harmless new person. Or older members, they don't have to be expert traders. I know I'm not, and if us oldies screw up one trade, it's "OMG YOUR SCAMMING US". No, we aren't, just because we've been around ages, doesn't mean we have to send flawless trades each time.

In my opinion, they are the n00b's here, and should be banned from posting on the thread. I have foed most of them so I don't see their ridiculous nasty posts :/. Then they go completely off-topic and annoy people who are generally pissed off at a genuine trade they have.

Yeah, that thread has turned into a bastion of whining and pretentiousness. I've stopped posting there because their reactions are stupid. "LET'S KILL SOMEONE FOR MAKING A BAD TRADE ON A GAME!" "YEAH! AND LIGHT THEM ON FIRE!" I wish I was exaggerating. All their problems are easily fixable, they just won't so they have something to complain about.

Nowadays I just remind newbies to read trade rules before offering because it'll save them the shock of getting rejected and me the irritation of rejecting their trade. The thread is basically punishing newbies for being newbies.

Even though I lurk around and post on there, I agree. I remember seeing the stint of sending usernames and revenge trades. We got warned, but surprisingly not locked. I think a lot of posters there get really excited, so things get off-topic and wily. I don't find myself following it as much as I did before.
