Maybe not coming right out and saying it, but, yes; people HAVE done that to me. And what's more? I see people with STL dogs in their signatures who are definitely NOT spreading ANY love WHATSOEVER!!!!! It really annoys me. -.-;

Oh, you know what ELSE annoys me? I wanted to start a CS peacekeepers club, so I created one. When after a few weeks nobody joined, I edited it to make it easier for people. STILL nobody has joined. ._.;

When there's STL already, why a peacekeeper? Same idea, really.
But the whole STL thing drives me up the wall. I'm not gonna go into detail WHY, but it's completely annoying.

Just make sure they don't annoy people. Some people don't mind to be all STL'd on, but like me, just leave me to get my opinion out, not be like "OHMYGAWSH, Stop fighting, keep the peace, keep the peace!" Otherwise I'd end up being annoyed with you.

Anyway, I agree with Fallen-Rose, as long as the club ain't obnoxious I have no issue with it...
