Crazy Things You Thought As A Young Kid

I would "tuck in" my dolls and other toys for night just because I like though it would be bad if they got cold in the night and stuff. so basically I felt bad if I didn't properly take care of them.

When I was about four I was obsessed with wolves and dragons, and convinced myself that I would be able to turn into a wolf that had wings. of course I never did, but I was so positive that it would happen, and my parents would ask me "anything yet?" No. :,)

And for some reason I thought that pokemon was called "cookiemon"?? I don't know why I thought that but oh well.

And my grandma's name is Peggy but when I was little I called her "Grandma Piggy"


I also used to think that you got pregnant whether you wanted to or not, so I'd always get really upset about it because I really didn't want to give birth.

i remember my first day of kindergarten because as the teacher was giving us a tour of the classroom
and got to the closet, i asked her if thats where she lived, in which everyone gave me questionable
looks. being told it wasnt, my tiny self was so confused like ??? but then where do you live.
i didnt go to preschool and just didnt process teachers as actual normal people i guess

I also thought that if you worked somewhere you lived there, i know that makes no sense at all but i never spent much time thinking about it.

And i was always really paranoid when i was little, so before i went to bed i would always check to see that all my stuffed animals still had eyes, and then i'd feel them just to make sure that i wasn't hallucinating. All my teachers at daycare would read us books like "Wemberly Worried" just because i was so paranoid about such a ridiculous amount of things.

i remember i actually used to think there was like.. an evil exploding clown in my skeleton or something? ok ok i know that sounds weird but my cousin made some joke when he was like 12 about me exploding wen he did a countdown about some clown or something so i obviously flipped out and was convinced for a few years that i was, deep down, actually a robotic evil clown with a self destruct button that could only be set off by someone counting down to zero. i cried like i was being murdered every time someone counted down. very weird time period in my life.

• Back years ago when I was too young to talk my sister revived one of our dogs we use to have who was a newborn at the time. He was out in the snow and he wasn't breathing. So she followed what Roger did in 101 Dalmatians and wrapped him up in a warm rag and rubbed him until he started breathing again. Well, as I said, I was way too young at the time so what I thought happened was she brought him back to life by, no joke, putting him in the microwave. I kid you not I went around school telling that to my friends in Kindergarten up to like the third grade. They thought it was the coolest thing ever at the time. 😂

• I always thought the moon followed you when you rode in the car at night. Same with the sun and clouds.

• I use to think that water towers were huge, metal spiders that never moved.

• Up until like fifth grade I never knew Finland was a real place let alone a Country. I always thought Finland was a place Patrick made up in the Doodlebob episode of SpongeBob.

• I use to think Mario was a Mexican as a young kid. lmao

• Aaaand I use to think that the fishing guy on the moon in DreamWorks movies was real and I would see his fishing pole if I looked closely at the moon.
