Currently working the evening shift 3-11:30pm as a medical laboratory scientist: lab mouse. I take care of the analyzers that test the blood, urine, fluids that are sent down by the phlebotomists, nurses, doctors, etc. I make sure the analyzers are running properly and load, unload, hunt down, patient samples before verifying/reporting or calling patient results. It is a busy job, but I don't have to interact with patients, nurses, etc on a face to face basis which is nice.

I work in video game Quality Assurance right now! We work with unreleased games or upcoming seasonal updates for games, playing them or testing specific requests from the developers and then writing up info/proof of issues that we've encountered in a database of bugs so that the devs can track them and make sure they get fixed ^^
I also have a graphic design degree and like to work on digital art sometimes <3

who knows, you could inspire someone or help someone pick their college major
im currently volunteering at a ranch in Arizona called TRAK (therapeutic ranch for animals & kids) i muck stalls, fill waters, feed, take the horses to turn out, help with vet care, tack up/groom horses, & help with little kid lessons
(AOS is the only correct answer to the poll Q)
My favorite memories involve working at a rescue ranch. It's honestly the best. Even all the hard labor is so so fun.
Do you have a favorite horse? Mine was this white mare with a tracheostomy that would follow me while I did all my work. She was so cute, n rather excited to never have to stop eating to breathe

I do jobs in the summer/during breaks between college rn. Last summer i worked at an afterschool program for elementary school kids, next summer I'm hoping to land a paid internship through the school of some kind and selling kandi bracelets/perler bead sprites over winter break through etsy.
Next year I also want to do an internship with kohl's, as they recruit a lot of jobs with my school and if i get the internship I'm basically secured a job with them after graduation. its largely focused on drawing patterns and designs for their clothes and fabrics which I'd really enjoy.
One of the classes I'll be taking next semester is going to be focused on marketing yourself/looking for internships and jobs in the art world, and I'm really looking forward to it. I think its going to help me a lot in the next few years, especially looking into these internships.
