Calling these things 'obsessions' is a severe overstatement...
Creating theories and conducting experiments to prove or disprove them (even in public, if my experiment cannot be done away from the eyes of society)
Reading (fiction and non-fiction alike)
Creating worlds and cultures through writing and/or drawing
Travel (especially to places rich with foreign culture, language and nature.)
Knowledge (gained from travel, books or experience)
Listening (it is fascinating what people say when they think no one is listening.)
Thinking
Nature
Discussing subjects that cause discomfort in most people, such as death. I do not fear it, nor do I understand why it is feared, so I'm fascinated in finding out why. I also enjoy discussing theories with others who aren't afraid to talk about it.
