YOUR QUESTION:A fishing boat left Port 32 and traveled west at an average speed of 8 km/h. A cruise ship left seven hours later and traveled in the same direction but with an average speed of 22 km/h. Find the number of hours the fishing boat traveled before the cruise ship caught up.

First calculate the distance between the boat and cruise ship at the time when the ship starts sailing. That's 8 (km/hr) * 7 he = 56 km.

Next is to find out how much time it would take for the ship to catch up to the boat. Let's call this t (in hours). After t hours have passed, the ship will have travelled: 22(km/hr) * t(hr) = 22t km
The boat will have travelled 56km + 8(km/hr) * t (hr) = 56km + 8t km

These distances travelled by the shop and boat must be the same so you are left with solving the equation:
22t = 56 + 8t

(And use standard algebra to do the rest)

Depends on what grade you get on the worksheet (assuming it's graded), what 40 points means (relative to how many points your other assignments are worth), whether the worksheet counts as an additional assignment (added to all the other assignments) or a bonus assignment (added on top), and the grade you already have. (:

In general, final grade = 100 * Σ(weight of assignment, in decimal form)(grade on assignment, in decimal form)

For example, assignment 1 is worth 12.5% and you get 80%. Assignment 2 is worth 30% and you get 75%. Assignment 3 is the other 57.5% and you get 96%.
Final grade = 100 * (0.125 * 0.8 + 0.3 * 0.75 + 0.575 * 0.96) = 87.7%

The higher the difference between the worksheet grade and the original grade, the bigger the % change after the worksheet.
If I lost you somewhere, add some info to the question and I'll try to give an actual number answer.

World War 1 is a hot mess because it had so many causes! The best essays on the topic talk about the varrying causes and how they are interrelated. This site here gives a nice, digestible overview of several causes. You might want to research each of these individually so that you have more information on each.
