I used to swear constantly, all the time. (Except in situations where it would be inappropriate, obviously). Which is ironic because I was one of those kids that got extremely upset if someone swore around me. I started sometime when I was a teenager, probably from talking with internet friends, and did for about nine years. However, in the last few months I trained myself to stop. At least, almost. I do still occasionally slip up if I get angry enough, but I've been pretty good about it. It's not like I still get upset by others swearing (honestly I don't care for the most part, if you want to then go ahead) but I feel that personally there isn't really a huge reason for me to swear anymore, and my friends I have now don't really swear much (if at all) either, so maybe they rubbed off on me a bit. I also suffer a bit from having a bad temper so trying to not swear I feel in a way has helped control my anger a bit.
