I wish I could be good at comforting people in person. I'm okay with text messages and PMs and things like that, but in real life I just can't do it. It takes me a while to think of a good response, and by that point I'm already freaking out about the amount of time that's passed and I either a.) not answer or b.) answer with the first thought that comes into my head (which most of the time does not help at all). I'm the same way with coversations too. If someone starts a story, I'll automatically think, "oh crap they're telling a story how do i respond??? oh no i'm going to give such a horrible response to this story they'll never want to talk to me again" and it's just...ugh. The need for comforting occurs a lot less than the need for responding to a story, but honestly I'd rather be good at comforting than responding to stories. I just feel really bad when I walk up to comfort someone but someone else does all of the comforting because I'm too afraid to speak up.

Also, I am annoyed that I never used list before because wOW I LOVE IT SO MUCH

do i wanna lose weight? hell yeah i do! the time and the motivation are there, and i exercise whenever i have time, but we're too poor to buy healthy stuff. we have to use change to buy dinner, and my parents couldn't care less. do they cook? nope. will they ever? no. no, and you should quit telling me. i know i'm over 20 lbs overweight, i know i can lose it, but unless my family stops being dysfunctional and we get more money i can't. stop telling me i'm overweight because i know. i would do it if i could. pls stop. thanks.
