Well, while we're all posting WIPs, this I'm still finishing up from...oh a few months back, hence the lack of scanning.



I eventually plan to do something with the background here. Any ideas anyone has?

Thanks! I used to use prismas (they're crazy expensive, though they probably are everywhere) but I got a decent set at Kmart or something, figured they were going to be terrible, but they seem to be working pretty good so far. I swear, the way I go through markers I'd need a third job just to keep buying the things. Haha.

That shading took me FOREVER. I've got some more WIPs I'm doing for my shop here but they're all photographs, as I don't scan anything until I'm done. (It's just a pain to switch the files all around when I can just hook the camera to the computer I use most)

I have a question for you guys about the whole pack issue:

Do you think it's strange/wierd/good/amazing/confusing that people join 'packs' because they're furries and stuff?

I dont really understand the concept, but think it would be cool to give it a go.

Would you be able to elaborate on that? Why do you think it's odd? Just because it's out of the usual? I can see why it would be odd, though a pack at school wouldnt be overly so because kids do play games. Out of that habitat it does seem slightly odd though, and also kinda fun and curious.

I mean, while the idea is an interesting one, it's hard to break down the fandom any more as it's already broken down into so many other sections. For the most part, it doesn't seem to be the same as it was 10 years ago. It's a whole different thing. I've been a furry for a long time, and what I see here on this site is completely different from the dozens of other sites I've been on over the years. I also think that it falls under the catagory that the fandom itself is evolving, changing. So while the 'pack mentality' might seem wierd to a few people, it's just starting to slowly become the 'norm'.

((Same with feral/quad forms being used as fursonas and multiple fursonas beyond the average of 1 or 2. That seems to have cropped up I'd say in the past 3 or 4 years))

I'm not in one, it's more of a fad that's been passing around. No one in my school really cares about furries accept my friend whom you may usually see posting on this topic. ^^ *lips sealed*
