dear john by lush is a really rich smokey woodsy sort of smell, that opens with a sharp lime note. it's made to be reminiscent of hugging your dad and hes wearing aftershave heehee. one of my faves for male fragrances. i'm actually going to be giving a bottle to my partner's younger brother for his birthday, since he likes fragrance like me :D

another good choice would be when the rain stops by replica. this one's really piney and fresh, with a little floral. once it dries down it's definitely more masculine. it's made to smell like, walking through a lush forest when the rain stops wink wink.

I love YSL Black Opium, but honestly I find it doesn’t last very long on my skin for some reason.

Recently obsessed with layering Replica Jazz Club and Kayali Vanilla 28! I’m intrigued by the pistachio scent as well, is it lighter than the vanilla?

My wallet does not want me to get invested in perfumes, but it’s just so much fun I can’t help it lol

i just got into outlaw soap's stuff, you might like them! my absolute favorite is blazing saddles (smells like creosote, sagebrush, campfire, and leather) but if you're looking for something earthy or more green they have that too! their solid colognes are only $18 each (or $24 for a sampler kit), the spray stuff is on sale right now for $55.

all though i dont buy it often, its really not a priority right now, i love perfume. smells are important to me, theyre comforting and give me nostalgia even. my favorite perfumes ever are Kaleidoscope and Lovely Dreamer, both by B&BW, and both discontinued. : ( Kaleidoscope is hard to find in perfume anymore online and expensive, and LD is just straight up expensive.

anyone know of any possible dupes for either of these perfumes?

my favs so far have been sweet by ellis brooklyn (orris + pear + marshmallow) and wish you were here by memoire archive (floral petrichor + almond + coffee). the later i actually got a huge thing of it for like, 13 dollars when it's originally 60. insane luck.

Katy Perry's Purr is definitely my signature scent, but lately I've been loving Berry Waffle Cone from B&BW, it smells just like Fruity Pebbles!

I have a few scents I rotate, depending on the event or the season. I do wear glossier you on a daily basis because I feel like it's nice and light. but i do not wear a strong perfume every day for sure

As for my other scents, I own la panthere by cartier which I reserve for very specific occasions and in winter because it's a strong, slightly animalic chypre. It can come off a little strong, but I really enjoy it for special events at night. my mom hates it lol
I also really like mon paris intensement by YSL for winter. It's also a chypre scent, but much more mild and floral. i wear it all winter.
I also own a 30ml of not a perfume by JHAG, because i can't afford the full size. It consists of only one ingredient that is also in glossier you, which is Cetalox. It smells different on everybody and I really like the way it smells on me.

i agree with user incognito! on this! i'm a big collector of scents that i rotate depending on season, weather, event type, etc. i haven't yet found a daily scent (most of the fragrances i end up liking are on the pricier side, and i feel like i'm "wasting" it by wearing it every day, yk. which is kind of Silly) but i definitely agree w/ keeping it light.

my, i guess, "signature scent" would be tobacco vanille by tom ford. it's definitely an autumn / winter scent with notes of tobacco leaf, vanilla, and warm, spicy notes.
i've currently been wearing tom ford's lost cherry. it's transitioning into autumn and i think it's definitely a falltime scent. (notes of cherry / cherry liqueur, turkish rose, cedarwood, etc).
i also stole some of my partner's signature scent / fragrance (kayali's vanilla) and it's a super light, sweet scent that's perfect for layering.

for dupes of more expensive scents, i absolutely recommend oakcha! they have pretty affordable tester kits to find fragrances / scent families you might like. (they have a dupe of tobacco vanille and it smells identical to the real thing. it's so crazy /pos).

I usually rotate a lot. But I've been loving Vanilla Woods by 7 Virtues, Whisky 1969 by Thin Wild Mercury, and Caramel Dream by Sabrina Carpenter.

Also love Dossier dupes and recently bought Khamrah by Lattafa (Angels' Share by Kilian dupe) to try.
