It depends.. what if there's loads of rulebreakers >___>

Well, it's the mod's job to reprehend any rule breakers. Yes, maybe there are too many posts and it's difficult to look at them all, but being a mod is a pretty though job. I've been a mod before and it was incredibly tiring but usually quite rewarding as well.

Nonetheless, the rules that are in place for the CS forums in general should be all that is needed to keep every topic going. As I've said before, I've been lurking on the 'things that annoy' you thread for a while and I've never seen a real fight break out. It's mostly people not being able to handle having their opinions or beliefs challenged. That is not breaking any of CS's rules as long as they are not plainly rude about it, I believe.

I only list the number of people blacklisted, never usernames.

Lots of people have different opinions on the public strike system.
Tbh, I just set it up on one topic because there were quite a lot of people not bothering to look at the rules, and just going ahead and breaking them. I'd warned beforehand there's been some cases of rulebreaking, and one more would lead to me setting up a strike system. That happened, people were very angered o_o so I set it back, with the warning that if the issue comes up again, then they're going back up.
It depends how mature the thread owner is, if they randomly go I'm banning ___ and ____ and ___ because I don't like them, especially on a public thread, it's unacceptable.

I do not believe in blacklisting or foeing. And I haven't needed them yet. ^_^

I agree with whitelists only because they don't get a bad reputation.
Blacklists/strike systems with the reason and username is horrible, too. ;_;

Jesus. People have been arguing about this long enough. I won't stop you guys, but this is just a website. For children. No need to make a mountain out of a molehill.

Personally I think strike systems can go both ways, anyway.

If you don't like someone and give them a strike for it, don't you think thats a bit racist?

I challenge the whole 'thread owner' definition, yes, OP (opening poster) or even TP (topic/thread creator) are fine by me, but what makes you think you own the thread? Just because you happened to create it? If it were (and I use 'you' as a general you, not trying to target anyone) your private fanclub, then I'd agree with it, but it just irks me that people keep tabs on such general subjects. In the same way that it irks me when someone screams 'art theft' at something that's barely related to their picture.

...but that's another whole can of worms.

I think just sending someone a polite warning via PM would be a little less threatening and offending, and might get through to people better. :3

And Diver Cholk, this is a debate thread. They're just debating it out. ;3
I will soon be merging with Never, so look for me on that account later on. :3
