My fave dog breeds are German Shepherd, Husky, Blue Heeler and cattle dogs. They are all awesome breeds of dogs. Plus I like Labradors because they are really cute and they are very smart dogs as well X3

I keep mixing up pugs with other and going "OH EM GEE! PUGS HAVE FIFTEEN VOTES!" then I notice it just says that was the 'other category' and get all disappointed. I'm not surprised though. It seems that loving pugs was just a short fad.
Of course, I worshipped loved pugs before it was even cool.

Purple--> I am sure it is fine. Besides you like them anyway and that should be the only thing that matters to you. Pugs are really cute doggies anyway ;D

Oh, It doesn't that other people don't like them as their favorite dog, I'm just sad how it reminds me when pugs used to be popular and people would lie about how they 'love' them. *sigh* It's really sad how many people lied about liking pugs throughout that fad, now they call them ugly. D: They're not ugly, they're pugly! But I still worship obsess love pugs and nothing will stop me! Eh, I'm getting off topic. I shall stop now.

That wasn't being off topic because you are having a discussion of your fave dog and this is what this thread is all about really. But it does happen with many other different breeds of dogs. They are said to be a loved animal but behind the scenes they are terribly treated.

I'm not? 8D Yay! So many pug-lover wannbes during the fad. >.< (Of course, thats what happens during any dog breed fad)
I tried to talking to one of them about pugs the other day (after the fad had ended) and her immediate response was "Eww! I hate pugs! They're so wrinkly and ugly and smelly! I want something cute and fluffy like a...Cocker spaniel!"

I'm not the biggest fan of pugs, but they're hardly ugly. And I agree that dog fads like that are awful. An animal isn't like a fashionable accessory, to be discarded when it goes out of season.

I think all dogs are beautiful in their own way. Plus they are always there for you to give a hug and that they always cheer you up
