Some people just seem to thrive on drama. Of course, that's not what you should be doing on a kids' site but that still doesn't matter to everyone--obviously.

There's nothing wrong with stating an opinion. But there's no reason to start an entire new thread for the haters of the same topic. That's the complete point of that rant..
How can you not mean to start up a new thread about hate? Hmm? That's highly illogical. I can understand making a post about their opinion and not realizing that it was offensive to some people, but to start a thread is completely on purpose. They try to push the other people's buttons.
Yes, I have thought about that, thank you very much.
And no, thread wars are not fun. They're completely childish and unecassary, and just more trouble for the mods to have to take care of.

I agree. Save the mods some trouble and stop the thread wars.

For some people, it's all kinds of fun to watch other people bickering at each other. So they instigate and antagonize to provoke reactions out of people, then sit back and roast marshmallows over the flames. You can't really get rid of these people; the best advice I can give would be to be aware when someone is trying to bait you, then be the mature one and exit the conversation. Don't try and go out with a snappy comeback, just leave. Otherwise you're just feeding the trolls. Getting angry over the internet is completely pointless.

I'm not one to add gas to a flame but sometimes it is funny to see a person completly blow up over something simple. I giggle at it but I don't add to it. But I'm sure some people do.
