Down syndrome doesn't stop people from achieving their goals. Just because they sound different, look different, or even act different. Sure, you can be uncomfortable around them but just remember that we are all the same. In fact, children with down syndrome are very social and very smart, too. Usually, down syndrome is caused by alcoholic parents but not all the time so don't get me wrong. I had a retarded kid in my class named Caroline. She was so cute and kind. I was very comfortable around her. I hate it when people use the wrong term for retarded. They use it for the word dumb;stupid;dense. But thats not it. It means disordered. I understand how these kids must feel around mean people. I say stop bullying troubled kids.
hardly on cs anymore!

They are all very sweet, and there is no reason to mock them, call them horrible, weird or anything even close.
Down's Syndrome basically just means that they have an extra chromasone ( The 24 chromasone I think ) and there is not a lot that you can do about it, and I don't see why anyone would want to.
They're just human, like the rest of us and it's not even like it's a rare syndrome, with about 1 in 800 babies being diagnosed at birth or before.
We are all human, no matter what, and we all deserve to be treated as equals.
And if anyone can't learn to deal with that, then, as some people have learnt the hard way, there are so many people that will prove them wrong.

Thank you.
