Guide to Sparkle dogs [WIP, but posting's fine]

The colors actually don't hurt my eyes, it's just the horrible colors and such that they put together. xD I can't take designs like the first sparkledog you showed. I can't stand colors that don't match.

I agree with you 100%. The colors are fine, but you have to be carfull how you use them.

I've never actually heard of a Sparkle Dog before.
Is there a difference between a Sparkle Dog and a wild fursona that represents someone's crazy side?

Yes, there is a difference. A sparkle dog is a character who's colors and patterns hurt the eyes, but a wild furosna would not be a SD unless it... Hurst the eyes. Does that make sense?

Is my character a sparkle fox 'sparkle dog'? I know the concept of them, as I've had a sparkle dog character in the past, but I just wasn't sure about this one. By some viewers, I believe he would be considered one.

I wouldnt think so. The colors don't strain the eyes at all; really, it's just a brightly colored fox. :3

I personally like sparkle dogs, unless they're Spaggles. Spaggles, being the extreme, over the top sparkle dogs. Like this creature here. And this. It's people who like them who ruin the reputations of sparkle dogs. Everyone had a sparkle dog, until it was 'cool' to hate on them. Mainly because of those people.

First up, thanks for this guide! It helps, especially because I had no idea what a sparkle dog was!
Secondly, I dislike some sparkle dogs but I agree with your point here, Capricco. I would probably make something like that on paper if I were extremley bored, but I'd never put them up on CS. They are rather...intense XD
But back on topic, I agree 100% with this.
(Also, do you think my character is a sparkle dog? She's in my signiture...I'm not quite sure myself...)

Since when have these colorings a name? But apart from that, I absolutely dislike them, and I won't tell you what I exactly think about them 'cause it may hurt feelings or be inappropriate.
