How do you make hearts?

Does any one know how to make hearts?

Alt 3 doesn't work for me either. xD {Heh, ryhme. xD}
How I make them is I go to Start>All Programs>Accesories>System Tools>Character Map
Then what type you want that works is at the top, and it should be the default option, Arial.
It also has other symbols like-

you can make all kinds of symbols by holding alt and pressing a sequence on numbers on the Num pad. you make a heart, ♥ by holding alt and pressing num pad 3. also here are a few more you could use: ♫=1+4 ♀=1+2 ♂=1+1 ☺=1
have fun with your new knowledge

*EDIT* if you have a laptop with no num pad, hold alt and the function key (Fn) then type the sequence of numbers with the regular numbers.

When I saw this, I tried to figure it out on mac and had to look it up... If anyone else is having this problem on a mac (No start menu or Alt key =( ) This page might be helpful. http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/inte ... alosx.html ♡
